"Loadful" of thoughts

Dear Diary,

A series of events seem to rock the morale of the pharmacy department in my company recently. I am trying my best to calm everybody down and hopefully when my boss returns for a short talk with the rest of the pharmacists, all will be fine by then. I must really thank God for having such an able pharmacist as an assistant for my roster portfolio. She really helps me a lot, haha… perennially grateful to her. =) With her help, I can continue manning my pharmacy and engage my student more effectively, more fruitfully and more joyfully! As the company’s Dinner & Dance (D&D) looms, kinda looking forward to, maybe, wearing that bowtie which I bought in Hong Kong, haha… haven’t got a real chance to wear that yet, hee… maybe I should go ask my roster assistant for a dance if there is one, haha… just maybe. =P

Today, my former classmate came by my pharmacy and we had lunch. It was that usual dose of how life is so bad and so on…. Pretty pessimistic career conversation between pharmacists. Why? Why are the professionals of this pharmacy profession in a prosperous nation like Singapore can be so disillusioned? We were formerly from some of the best colleges and the best crop of A-level students! Oh well… Sigh… even the song playing in my bedroom now is “Summer’s Gone” by Paul Anka. I need more uplifting music! Haha… hold on, I go and change the music… hee…

Ok, now it is still a Paul Anka’s song but it is much more catchy and cheerful with “Adam and Eve”. =) Talking about Adam and Eve… hmmm… if they did not sin, what will happen? Haha… You know something about evergreen romantic song? They make me feel a little tinge of sadness and regret, but yet I feel how wonderful life is at the very same time. Crazy, isn’t it? Haha… Romantic songs tend to make one dwell on the past… especially the regretful or nostalgic ones. Anyway, I am suddenly pretty motivated because I know a very special girl not too long ago and I just hope something can really happen out of it. Not too confident after being declined for a date twice! Haha… if I were still in university, I would have given up… However, maybe I am older now… surely I am more persevering than just that, yeah? ;-) Wish me all the best!

Leave you guys and gals with a forwarded email from all people… My dad! Haha…

Business Logics

Father: I want you to marry a girl of my choice
Son: "I will choose my own bride!"
Father: "But the girl is Bill Gates's daughter."
Son: "Well, in that case...ok"

Next Father approaches Bill Gates.

Father: "I have a husband for your daughter."
Bill Gates: "But my daughter is too young to marry!"
Father: "But this young man is a vice-president of the World Bank."
Bill Gates: "Ah, in that case...ok"

Finally Father goes to see the president of the World Bank.

Father: "I have a young man to be recommended as a vice-president."
President: "But I already have more vice- presidents than I need!"
Father: "But this young man is Bill Gates's son-in-law."
President: "Ah, in that case...ok"

This is how business is done!!

Moral: Even If you have nothing, You can get Anything. But your attitude should be positive

That’s all for tonight! Nothing very much… but just a whole “loadful” of thoughts in my mind which I have problem expressing anyway! Haha… Goodnight!

God Bless,

Andrew
