Sales Blitz

Dear Diary,

I choose not to log into my Facebook now, haha… so that I can find some time to type a blog entry. Think I am a little addicted to all the competitive games in Facebook, haha… The games are very simple but smart in the sense that they play on your competitive streak as you vie for top spot against your friends in each of the various games! Oh well… anyway, just ate some of those “moon pies” which my sister bought from Le Café. Tasted great… at least for the two flavours I ate… I think they were green tea and coffee-favoured ones! A nice supper is always a good way to end a long day. =)

Today is one of those pretty amazing days… Just 2 hours after I stepped into my pharmacy, I had sold $1500 worth of goods including prescriptions, exports, pharmacy medicines, an ear thermometer and glucose test strips. It was busy but I was happy, haha… In fact, by the end of the day… I sold $1800 worth of products after more customers came and bought blood pressure monitors etc… haha… I thought such a sale was probably unprecedented. That’s really quite a lot of value if you ask me.

Lunch was eating some mutton soup and then reading the Today newspapers which one of the promoters always faithfully get for me. ;-) I decided to give Subway a miss for today’s dinner. I think I have taken 5 Hero’s meals in slightly over a week… yeah… I am crazy over Subway especially now that they have such a great offer! Tasted many of the different sandwich fillings and all the different types of cookies... Yummy… love those vegetables too! Must really thank Mum for being so uncompromising towards me, then a young 7-year-old carnivorous. In fact, I think I was predominantly carnivorous for most of my primary school days.

A locum pharmacist popped by my pharmacy with her two little daughters in the evening. =) Cute little girls they are… but as their mum said… choosy girls, haha… they needed some multi-vitamins and it must be chewable and must be a gummy…. *Faint*. So choosy ah, little girls! Haha... Hope I have some daughters within half a decade too! ;-) This locum pharmacist had completed her Masters in Applied Finance at the Singapore Management University (SMU) recently and is now working in an investment firm. Cool! Quite a radical career switch I must say. However, it was food-for-thought indeed. Nothing is really too late if you know what you want in your life. Persevere on, Andrew! ;-)

Oh goodness gracious me!!!! Just realised that the wedding is held at Asian Civilisation Museum tomorrow but not at the location I thought it is! The one at Armenian Street is not the one! It is under construction till 2008. The actual wedding venue is the one at the former Empress Place! Thank God I checked… hee… Looks like I can’t check out Wesley Methodist Church after all… okay, need to do some planning now to see which nearby church to attend. That’s all for tonight. Goodnight! ;-)

God Bless,

Andrew
