Tis the Season to be Jolly...

Dear Diary,

Caught the movie “The Nativity Story” last night. I rushed down after work at 9.30pm to Plaza Singapura and managed to watch that movie with a fellow locum pharmacist colleague. It was my treat… kinda wanted to follow up with her on the gospel after giving her some Radio Bible School (RBC) booklets. The movie was okay I guess. Just felt that the scenes changed a little too quickly and my friend had a hard time following the story. Then again, I can’t imagine how the director could make this movie any more interesting. Thought that the movie was very well-shot but the Nativity Story about the birth of Christ Jesus is such a familiar story that it did not excite me as much as I hope it would. Maybe the movie “The Passion of the Christ” gave me that expectation which “The Nativity Story” did not meet. Nonetheless, it was great to catch a movie after such a long time. When we left the cinema, it was still raining heavily. It was already close to midnight. Good thing, she has a car. You know… the Mini Cabriolet… what a waste that it was raining or else would have loved experiencing the “topless” feel of the car when the canopy retracts. Maybe another time. =)

Somehow, I think I am getting back my social life… despite these 7 weeks been one of the busiest in my life. I practically never reached home earlier than 10pm from Monday to Saturday! However, last week… managed to meet up again with a couple of university classmates. 6 guys (including myself) and a girl… I met them after work at 9.40pm and we had a nice good chat at a coffee joint somewhere at the basement of Raffles City. It has been a while since we acted crazy, laughed loudly and … oh well, kinda missed those university days. Somehow, find it hard to have that kind of comradeship with fellow working colleagues. Sigh…

Christmas is approaching… Giving myself a break on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! Hee… The Year 2007 is going to be an interesting year. I really hope to finalise some decisions and achieve some objectives in my life! Okay, that’s all for now. Find it hard to write blogs these days. Maybe my life is really getting boring and routine. Oh well… goodnight!

God Bless,

Andrew
