Having Difficult Choices to Make is Better than No Choice at all
Dear Diary,
It is hard to type a decent blog these days as there is a need to be discreet not to leak confidential stuff. In fact, yesterday was an incredible day. Met my boss at the McDonald’s near my workplace in the morning. I got a superb appraisal from her and could be on my way to getting more responsibilities… of course, the pay increment and year-end bonuses should expectedly commensurate my achievements, hahaha… If that was good news just before my work… then more good news came along when I stepped into my workplace.
In the midst of work, a phone-call with an innocent-looking number flashed on my mobile caller-ID. I picked up and behold… I was asked for an interview! =) Good news but suddenly… I was left wondering which should I choose? Develop my career which is sparkling like never before (then again, I am barely out in the workforce for long, haha) or pursue a dream which will make me a pauper with huge debts past my 30-years of age.
It is so coincidental that two sets of such glad tidings could be given to me in just a short space of a few hours. How? Furthermore, I find it hard to share my thoughts with anyone except for my family and a close friend whom I dropped an email to her. =)
A locum pharmacist asked me out for coffee after work some time this week. Yet to be confirmed but she is arranging it. Hope to meet up with her although I have only met her twice and on both occasions for very short period of time. Once, I stepped into a particular pharmacy branch and introduced myself to her. Next one, she brought her boss along to my pharmacy during their seminar break and the three of us had a pretty nice chat then.
Frankly, I need to jumpstart my social life a bit and getting out in the evenings to meet up with people… Oh well, we will see how it goes, haha… my cousin just got married 3 days ago… hmmm…
Oh yes, one of my all-time favourite female singers is Shania Twain. I think she is really “cool” and her songs are just so “country” and awesome. Check out this video clip of her performing “Ka-Ching” in France:
God Bless,
Andrew
