Good Old Time, Good Old Buddies!
Dear Diary
Today was a really nice day I must say. I was pleasantly surprised to see 1, 2, 3, 4… okay, six of them from another retail pharmacy chain in my store! =) They were attending a 2-day seminar on customer service. I wondered for a moment if that seminar has anything to do with teaching them how to smile sweetly, now that the IMF delegates all around the world have arrived in Singapore, hahaha… I put up the “Out-for-lunch” sign and off I went to lunch with those 6 former classmates! We ate at MOS burger restaurant and had some really funny chats, haha… hilarious indeed. It really felt like good old university days! I guess I kinda miss interacting with many of them. Some of which were my favourite classmates. They said that they would meet me for lunch again tomorrow but expect me to give them all a treat. Oh well… haha… I don’t exactly mind actually. =)
In the evening, two out of the six of them actually came over to my pharmacy again and we had a pretty long chat. Sometimes, I just wish that time did not have to pass so quickly. It almost felt like yesterday when we were still training in the hospital. Now… each of us has our very own lives and dreams. May we find joy and peace in our lives. Coincidentally, a university junior whom I never really talked to him except when I was his Orientation Group Leader in 2002… came up to me in my pharmacy tonight. He spoke to me and I was glad to know that he is now training in a hospital. It is the hospital that I did my Year 3 attachment at. A long day was capped nicely when I had a phone chat with a locum pharmacist who belongs to my university senior batch! =)
Tomorrow evening is also the P-Medicine seminar and I will get to meet more former classmates, hahaha… all these meetings seem to put an end to a torrid last few days. Last Friday and Saturday, I had some of the most difficult customers and they really got on my nerves! Haha… Anyway, life is still very nice. I am pretty excited about my guitar lesson this Thursday. I guess I am now learning the basics more accurately, haha… but I still haven’t got the time to practise those strumming pattern and chords they taught me last week. Then I will have one-day of leave next week! Cool! Hahaha…
Okay, got to go now and one advice: Live life positively and be willing to pursue your dreams while you are young!
God Bless,
Andrew
