Approaching the Lunar New Year

Dear Diary,

Now a little groggy from waking up so early on a Lunar New Year eve... haha... yesterday, I only returned after midnight because I met up with a former university classmate for a good cuppa of ice-blended frappe with ice-cream. =) It can be a little demoralising to be working on the eve of the New Year! Thankfully, it will end at 5.30pm and then I can rush off to meet my family at a restaurant for reunion dinner.

Yesterday, it was made officially known that I am promoted to a senior pharmacist position... although I got promoted on 1 Jan. I can expect further responsibilities to come. It is ironic that the senior pharmacist which is me, is not "senior" enough to take a pre-registration pharmacist under my mentorship. I am quite sure I can do well if I have that opportunity... haha... Then again, I am only a full-fledged pharmacist for about just 10 months till now.

I await another secret result which will be made known by April the latest. That outcome can have a great bearing on my eventual career. Anyway.... I am looking forward to the New Year in hope and anticipation. Hope you are too!
