You Just Make Me Wanna Play....
Dear Diary,
Do you know that I suddenly had this song ringing in my head? It is not a song that I am unfamiliar... in fact, I used to listen to this song "Superstar" by Jamelia quite often. At that time, whenever I went to the nursing home to sieve through inpatient medical records for information to do my pre-registration project, this song was always played over the public announcement (PA) system. I used to wonder if those nurses and old folks (most of them pretty demented) ever got sick of this song.
Then again, it is about a year later... this morning, I saw TCS artiste Priscilla Chan in my pharmacy. She is a pretty lady but somehow tanned girls don't appeal to me as much as fairer girls, haha... I thought I would gasp or be speechless especially since I always thought she looked lovely on TV. I did not.
Ironically, a pharmacy junior came into my pharmacy this evening and left just as quickly. To be honest, I never really noticed her much before. However, that split second... I actually got speechless... don't really know what I was talking about before she disappeared as quickly as she came. Whew... I felt like singing....
"I don't know what it is,
That makes me feel like this,
I don't know who you are,
But you must be some kind of superstar,
Coz you got all eyes on you no matter where you are..."
Hahaha... Guys can be quite "cannot-make-it" at times. No wonder, those monks have to stay in a monastery to avoid getting "blown" away by the opposite gender. =P
Planning the Hong Kong trip is getting exciting. Intending to stay in a 5- or 6-star hotel... cool! Backpacking-kind of tour is "out" for this coming one because Hong Kong is too much of a city to really backpack anyway. However, this trip is going to set me back by close to two thousand dollars since my youngest sister and parents are going for the best! The plane, the hotel, the tour... I guess it is time to reward myself too! ;-)
Volunteering to be a preceptor to two pharmacy students in May... let's see if my company's Human Resource Department and my former university approve of it! Haha...
God Bless,
Andrew

Well... yeah, we are still having a free-and-easy trip, just that our luggages will be in a hotel. May make the trip to Shen Zhen (China) too. =) Hope to get down to some good shopping, Disneyland adventure, harbour-viewing, touring and sight-seeing! Not forgetting... interacting with my family members more, it's been a while since we can leave work and go on a real getaway!
